Herbie Deschambeault was taking a coffee break when he bought a LUCKY LINES MULTIPLIER SCRATCH ‘N WIN ticket that made him $75,000 richer.

Deschambeault picked up his winning ticket at the Northern #178 located on Main Street in Cumberland House.

“I only needed one more icon and I thought, ‘There’s no way I’m going to get that,’” he said. “But then I did. I took my ticket up to the retailer and said, ‘I think I won!’”

“The retailer just looked at me and said, ‘Lucky you!’” he continued. “I couldn’t believe it. That’s a lot of money!”

Deschambeault said the win would help him have the “best Christmas ever!”

“After the holidays I’m going to buy a Ranger,” he said. “I don’t really have one in mind, so I’ll just go and see what catches my eye.”

“I was just so excited to win something so big,” he continued. “All I know is this is going to help me so much in life.”

Saskatchewan Lotteries is the fundraiser for more than 12,000 sport, culture, recreation and community groups.
