Tisdale woman becomes Saskatchewan’s newest millionaire

Tisdale’s Doreen Reid is $1.5-million dollars richer after visiting the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA)’s Gold Eagle Casino this past weekend. Doreen won $1,502,225.26 on the Smoke Signals jackpot on October 23, 2016.

“On behalf of the Board and employees of SIGA and the Gold Eagle Casino, we would like to formally congratulate Doreen Reid and welcome her to SIGA’s Millionaires’ Club,” says Zane Hansen, SIGA’s President and CEO.

“On behalf of the staff from Gold Eagle Casino, we are thrilled for Doreen on her big win. Congratulations on your Smoke Signals jackpot,” Kelly Atcheynum, General Manager adds. 

Smoke Signals jackpot has paid out a total of $8,550,924.40 to date. The Smoke Signals top tier jackpot has now been reset to one million dollars and can be won at any time.

Smoke Signals is a SIGA-wide jackpot that links 52 slot machines at all six casinos. There are three mystery jackpot tiers that increase over time, with specific starting and ending prize values. The largest mystery jackpot has a minimum value of $1,000,000 and pays out before it hits $2,000,000. Each time a patron plays a Smoke Signals slot machine, any of the jackpots could be triggered.
