The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) is to be named a Saskatchewan Top Employer by Canada’s Top 100 Employers project. Now in its 13th year, Saskatchewan’s Top Employers is a special designation that recognizes employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.

SIGA commits to fostering a high level of employee engagement by providing a safe workplace, financial self-reliance and a comprehensive benefits package for employees. In 2016, it was named one of the best casinos to work for.

Zane Hansen, SIGA’s President and CEO is thrilled about the recognition and what it means for the organization.

“At SIGA, we’re not just providing a job but meaningful careers our employees can take pride in. To be named a Saskatchewan Top Employer shows we’re being true to our guiding principles and providing an environment where employees feel supported in their career and personal goals,” said Hansen in a media release. “We thank our employees for their dedication to SIGA and to delivering the best in First Nation hospitality and entertainment.”

The major Canadian hiring locations in Saskatchewan are Saskatoon, North Battleford, Prince Albert, Swift Current, Yorkton, White Bear, and Whitecap with 1,161 full-time employees and 635 part-time employees in Canada.
