Sweetgrass First Nation has re-elected its incumbent chief.

During last week's election on November 29, Chief Lori Whitecalf defeated three challengers.

The six successful councillors are Daris Albert, Chris Albert, Eldon Atcheynum, Hazen Paskemin, Omer White, and Tom Whitecalf. Twenty-six people ran for council.

Chief and Council will serve two-year terms under Sweetgrass First Nation's custom election act.
