SaskTel triples Internet speeds in Flying Dust IR

SaskTel has announced that the residents of Flying Dust IR will now be able to enjoy the benefits of faster High Speed Internet. All SaskTel High Speed Internet customers in the community have been automatically upgraded to download speeds of up to 5 Mbps, more than 3 times faster than their previous speed of 1.5 Mbps.
“We are pleased to bring faster internet services to the Flying Dust IR,” said Ron Styles, SaskTel President and CEO. “We understand how important access to fast and reliable High Speed Internet services are for the social and economic development of residents in rural Saskatchewan.”
This upgrade is part of SaskTel’s commitment to invest over $300 million in capital in Saskatchewan in 2016/17 and $1.4 billion through 2016-2021. The company says investments like these will ensure that Saskatchewan will continue to receive some of the best communication and entertainment services in the world.
