Olympics 2014: More Medals & Counting

Canada now has 18 medals, with more on the way.

Today, Kaillie Humphries and Heather Moyse successfully defended their Olympic title, winning gold in the women's bobsleigh event at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games.

Yesterday, Mike Riddle won a silver in freestyle skiing half pipe and the women's 3000m short track speed skating relay team also won silver.

Additionally, both the men's and women's curling teams advanced to the gold medal matches, guaranteeing at least silver, along with the women's hockey team, who plays United States tomorrow.

The men's hockey team squeaked out a 2-1 win over Latvia today, advancing to the semi-finals, where they face the United States.

So far Canada has 5 gold, 9 silver, and 4 bronze medals.
