Saskatchewan has officially proclaimed May 2014 as Missing Children's Month. 

This year marks the 23rd annual Green Ribbon Campaign by Child Find Saskatchewan, which includes National Missing Children's Day on May 25.

"Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children and youth in our province is paramount," says June Draude, Social Services Minister. "I encourage all Saskatchewan residents to wear a Green Ribbon of Hope this month to raise awareness for all missing children and their families."

Citizens can also help support Child Find Saskatchewan by making donations to the organization’s Green Ribbon donation boxes located at Saskatchewan Liquor Board Stores across the province during the month of May.

"The Green Ribbon is a symbol of remembrance and hope for the safe return of missing children in our province and country," says Phyllis Hallat, Child Find Saskatchewan President. "We believe that a missing child is everyone’s responsibility."

In conjunction with Missing Children's Month is Missing Persons' Week, which will be marked the week of May 4 to 11.
