Best part of job
The best part of my job is the self determination of being self employed. That and all the fantastic people I get to meet and stories I get to hear and tell. 

Challenges of job
The hardest part is motivation. After that, it is the pressure of keeping the business up and the high standards we place on ourselves.

Role model
Bert Crowfoot, for sure, when I was starting out....after that it is people who do what they say with integrity and honour.

Mentor
Warren Goulding, my associate editor....taught me everything I know about owning a newspaper.
