FOUND: Mavis Bird

On August 25, 2014, Prince Albert/Sturgeon Lake First Nation RCMP received a complaint of a 34-year-old missing female from Sturgeon Lake First Nation. Mavis Bird was last seen at a gathering at a residence on Sturgeon Lake First Nation on Thursday, August 21, 2014.

As of August 28 at 7:30 a.m., Prince Albert RCMP had not made immediate contact with Mavis Bird and she is still considered missing.

It is unknown what Mavis was last wearing. She is described as a 5’ 3” Aboriginal female with brown hair and brown eyes. She may be in and around the Prince Albert or Sturgeon Lake First Nation communities.

Mavis is associated with a blue 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe (License: 219 JGP). The vehicle has been located and is now in the possession of Prince Albert RCMP.

Mavis is from the Little Red River First Nation.
