First Nation Winter Games mascot has a name

  • EFN Staff | April 08, 2014

The winner of the "Name Our Mascot" for the PAGC First Nation Winter Games contest was five-year-old Ada Mirasty from Bell's Point Elementary School in Air Ronge, Sask. She named the SFNWG's mascot “Moshum,” meaning "Grandfather" in Cree, Sech'eh in Dene and Unkan in Dakota. She wins an iPad, which was donated by PAGC's Department of Health and Social Development's Dental Therapy Program.
