Charges Laid in Murder of Northern Sask Woman

Charges have been laid in the case of a Northern Saskatchewan woman who was reported missing and later found dead last month.

Twenty-seven-year-old Ricky Jonathan Ross from Sucker River has been charged with first degree murder as well as offering an indignity to a body in the case of 24-year-old Sucker River resident Jodi Roberts.

Roberts was reported missing by her family on November 6. An RCMP search located her body November 27, and her death was deemed suspicious and ruled a homicide. 

Ross is appearing in La Ronge provincial court today.
