Candidates set for 2nd, 4th FSIN Vice Chiefs

Official candidates have been declared for two positions on the FSIN executive.
The Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN) Credentials Committee is pleased to announce the names of the candidates for the Office of the Second Vice Chief, and the Office of the Fourth Vice Chief.
David Pratt is one of three candidates running for Office of 2nd Vice Chief.
Heather Bear is running for re-election in the upcoming FSIN election.

 

The candidates, in alphabetical order, for the Office of the Second Vice Chief are:
  1. JOBB, Simon – Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation
  2. PRATT, David – Muscowpetung First Nation
  3. WHITEFISH, Lyle – Big River First Nation

The candidates, in alphabetical order, for the Office of the Fourth Vice Chief are:
  1. BEAR, Heather – Ochapowace First Nation
  2. FAVEL, Fenton – Poundmaker First Nation
  3. PAHTAYKEN, Dolores – Onion Lake Cree Nation

The 2017 FSIN Election Assembly will take place at TCU Place, Saskatoon, SK on October 25 and 26. Nomination day and speeches will be on October 25th and delegates will cast their vote on October 26th, the swearing in of the successful candidates will take place immediately after.
