Beardy's and Okemasis First Nation has elected its chief and council.

The new chief is Rick Gamble, who has previously served as chief.

Returning councillors include Kurt Seesequasis and Ruby Ehaypaise. 

New councillors are C. Roy Petit, Kevin Seesequasis, Leighanne Gardipy, Barb Mosquito, Jeremy Seesequasis, and Candace Scott.

The chief and council came into effect March 22, 2014.
