Saskatchewan Métis artist Andrea Menard's latest tour kicked off in Regina with a performance with the Regina Symphony Orchestra.

Menard's latest album, Lift, is now available through Indie Pool and digital copies on iTunes.

"Lift is an uplifting collection of 12 original songs, written by Robert Walsh and I, about beauty, love and unity. Produced by Walsh, this is probably our most heart-filled and ambitious project yet," explains Menard. "Without a doubt, it required every ounce of faith we had to finish it."

Menard says the support from many for her Indiegogo campaign was the beginning of a long journey of expansion.

"I am so proud to present this album to you. My belief in the power of song to change the world has truly been tested and put into action. I hope you find Lift to be part of an important change."

Menard's tour includes three stops in Saskatchewan: tonight in Regina and two shows the following week in Saskatoon.
